Awarded the Hessian State Prize for Energy

Together with the Odenwaldkreis and ENTEGA, we were awarded the Hessian State Prize for Energy on November 18, 2020 for our project “Smart School – Efficiency through Digitisation of Heating Technology”.

The award is based on the combined renovation concept of thermal insulation and our self-learning thermostats. We installed a total of 149 of our energy-saving thermostats in the Theodor Litt School in Michelstadt.

It is expected to sustainably reduce the school’s existing heat consumption of 800,000 kWh per year by 30-40% as well as save up to 40 tonnes of CO2 per year. This is a great success and we are very happy about it. Because the award confirms the strong efforts of all those involved in the area of climate protection.
